Hello, my name is Allen Steele. I started writing professionally while still in college. I wrote and published several workshop seminars for the Rapid Eye Institute that are still in use today. I recently finished writing help documentation for Contractpal.com. It is a subscription based software as a service (SaaS) that enables you to sign a contract online with electronic signatures.

I have been a technical writer for 14 years, specializing in documenting software API for Java and .NET applications. My goal is to upgrade my skills by completing a certification for the Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 5.0 certification. “Achieving this certification provides clear evidence that a programmer understands the basic syntax and structure of the Java programming language and can create Java technology applications that run on server and desktop systems using J2SE 5.0.
